VISION: We will be the professional and social community of choice for Black women working to dismantle the carceral system and other systems of oppression.

MISSION: The Jamii Sisterhood seeks to create a safe, nurturing, and innovative space for Black women working to dismantle the carceral system and other systems of oppression through expert professional development and community building.

Jamii Sisterhood aims to provide a safe and innovative space for Black women working in higher education programs in prison. We empower and connect, both professionally and socially through expert professional development opportunities and fostering a sense of community.
